The Implementation of Life-Review Intervention to Increase the Quality of Life on Elderly Widows

Quality of Life is the viewpoint or perspective individuals regarding how good their currently experienced life is. In later adulthood (old age), there are many changes, such as changes in physical and cognitive abilities, also social roles emotional conditions, especially on elderly women whose husband spouse had passed away. This condition can affect individuals. The goal this research was implementing Life-Review Intervention, which reviewing individuals’ experiences since childhood to late using recall, reassess, reevaluate, reintegrate processes increase participants. participants were two widows 54 63 years age, living East Java, who been for around years. method used experimental with single case A-B-A design, measured World Health Organization (WHOQOL-BREF) questionnaire main data, alongside interview observation supportive data. Assessment results showed having typically negative psychological aspects while positive environmental aspects. Interventions that Intervention guided reflect by remembering viewing from different perspectives. As result, able quality, though tended be stable.
